 "The Al Karob is an oasis of calm and relaxation hidden away between Albufeira and Guia. I had a fantastic stay here from the very warm welcome by Silvia and Salvi to the delicious homemade breakfasts and dinners (Silvia and her husband grow a lot of the produce themselves) to the superb yoga classes. It could not have been better. You can see the love and attention to detail that Silvia and her husband have put into the Al Karob. It is so welcoming and cosy, all the bedrooms, dining area and yoga room, are beautifully decorated. Silvia goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and to help you with anything extra that you would like to do. In my case, it was an aerial yoga class with Rita which was fantastic! I cannot recommend the Al Karob highly enough. It truly is a luxury hotel which makes you feel at home right away with kind, friendly staff, delicious food, great yoga, a beautiful pool and gardens. I definitely plan on going back!"

 "Amazing fitness and wellness retreat! All the staff were very friendly and had a personable touch as they would remember us and certain preferences for things. The room was spacious and had a beautiful sea view. I would prefer if there was tea bags in the room, as all the other tea making facilities were there besides the actual tea, which was odd. The spa was very peaceful and quiet which was perfect for relaxing. The massages were very relaxing, however it didn't seem that they can do a strong firm massage, even the deep tissue was probably the lightest massage I've ever had. The group activities were also really good. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very fresh. The pastries at breakfast were incredible, I definitely ate too many! I will definitely be returning!"

 "I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to for this hotel. I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels over the years, and this one definitely ranks in my Top 3. The staff here is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. I was initially a bit skeptical about the served breakfast, but it exceeded my expectations. The quality was outstanding, with small variations each day that kept it fresh and interesting. The room was comfortable, and the bed was fantastic. One thing to note is that some rooms have a frosted glass door instead of a separate, enclosed bathroom. This wasn’t an issue for me since I was traveling solo, but it’s something to consider if you’re sharing a room and value complete privacy. Albufeira itself wasn’t quite my style (a bit too touristy for my taste), but this hotel felt like an oasis amid the bustle. I explored the coast by car and always looked forward to returning here in the evenings. If I ever come back to the Algarve, this will be where I stay.
